The Mia-Lab collaborates with Dr Cristina Verdenelli at Synbiotec, a leading company in the research and development of probiotics. Leveraging its expertise in the development and application of live microorganisms, Synbiotec has implemented a series of research programs to better understand the properties, mechanisms, and effects of its probiotic lines on human and animal health. As part of a joint laboratory, our collaboration focuses on the development of functional foods by studying the modulation of the microbiota-immunity axis. This partnership has been instrumental in advancing several projects, including AMBROSIA and FONZIE, which explore innovative approaches to improving gut health and immune function.
